Tuesday night was the 2008 ‘Glamour’ Women of the Year Awards, and the Spice Girls won best band! Geri, Emma and Mel B attended the event and the pictures are stunning as expected:

Geri was out at the Bank Holiday weekend doing more ‘Ugenia Lavender’ book signings and so we have some gorgeous new pictures. Hopefully more to follow. Oh and I am working on a new look for the fanlisting, something fun and colourful..

Sorry for the lack of updates, but I have had a lot going on - anyway, I have been approved for the Geri Halliwell fanlisting over at TFL, so I have been busy getting that ready. If you are a Geri fan - and I’m guessing you are since you’re here - then please take a moment to join. We want the biggest list of Geri fans out there. Oh and also I am looking for inspiration on the name because it’s currently called ‘Geri Fan’ and that’s not the best really so if anyone wants the privelage of naming the fanlisting then please do give me your suggestions!

If it’s true then I’m so happy for Geri. Latest news reports are that she is getting married in September.

The former Spice Girls star - who has a two-year-old daughter Bluebell - is planning a September wedding with her backing dancer partner Ivan ‘Flipz’ Velez. A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: ‘Geri has a huge diamond and an even bigger grin on her face now that she and Ivan are marrying.

‘It’s been a whirlwind affair but when you know, you know and she doesn’t care if she’s criticised for being hasty. ‘Her daughter loves Ivan and that’s the only opinion she cares about.’

The ceremony will reportedly take place at London’s St. Bride’s church, often dubbed the ‘writer’s church’ because it is located on Fleet Street the former home of many newspapers, after Geri recently launched a new career as a children’s novelist.

Geri looked pretty as a picture at another book signing on 10th May and the pics are added to the gallery.

There may be many celeb mums that want their children to follow in their footsteps, but Geri has said in a recent interview that she doesn’t mind one bit what her little girl Bluebell decides to do with her her future.

She might be one of the A-listers in showbiz, but Geri Halliwell won’t be disappointed at all if her daughter Bluebell decides to turn away from the stage.

The Spice Girl recently revealed that she wouldn’t force her daughter into the limelight. “If she turns out to be a Goth lesbian who works in a dental surgery, then that’s OK,” the Mirror quoted her, as telling Magic FM.
